Founder & Artistic Director

Stella Ho is currently the Artistic Director of Stella & Artists, a member of the China Dancers Association, a member of the China Society of Children's Song and Dance, supervisor of Federation of Associations of Cultural Sectors of Macau, and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Macao Dance General Association. Ho graduated from the University of Macau and Taiwan University of Arts with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Fine Arts in Cross-disciplinary Arts respectively. She learned dancing since childhood and holds teaching certificates for grade 1-13 of Chinese Dance Graded Examination from the Beijing Dance Academy. She is currently a RAD registered teacher (RAD RTS). She finished the 3-year choreography course provided by the Macao Conservatory Dance School in 2004.

In 2000, Ms. Ho participated in the 6th "Taoli Cup" Dance Competition in Shanghai with the Macao Conservatory Dance School, winning the Performance Award and the Jury's Special Award. In 2008, she was selected to participate in the "Dance to New York" Choreography Elite Exchange Program organized by the Macao Cultural Centre, receiving choreography training at the Amy Marshall Dance Company in New York City. In 2012, she founded Stella & Artists, hoping to more actively promote the development of dance and arts culture in Macao. In addition to her dedication to dance education and choreography, she also engages in performance production. Ho's choreographic works have been presented at the Macao Arts Festival, International Youth Dance Festival, and Macao City Fringe Festival. Her major recent works include Let the Flower in Your Heart Bloom for the 22nd Macao City Fringe Festival, Vaster Far than the Ocean for the 32nd Macao Arts Festival, Convergence, and In Pursuit of P. Her major productions in recent years include Macao CDE Springboard, Crème de la Fringe: SilverARTS Festival of the 22nd Macao City Fringe Festival, Club Loneliness of the 33rd Macao Arts Festival, Work Inspired Workouts – Macao Market Version of the 20th Macao City Fringe Festival, and the annual productions of Stella & Artists: Let’s talk next time … I am now in the belly of a boa constrictor, The World in Microcosm, Passing Down, Raising Up, The Epilogue, and To Each His Own City. Ho has also been invited to teach or serve as a guest at arts festivals and dance exchange events in Portugal, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Guangzhou, and Hong Kong.

In 2021, Stella Ho was awarded the first annual "Fantasia" Artist of the Year (in the category of modern dance) by Macao Association of Arts and Academics.
