In 2022, Stella & Artists entered its tenth year and wanted to try something new and different in its productions. However, it still hoped to adhere to its mission of working with collaborating artists to promote the development of dance and arts in Macao. Therefore, it planned to try a "cross-border" production, bringing together Hui Koc Kun, the artistic director of Hiu Kok Drama Association, who has outstanding performances in playwright, directing and acting in Macao, to create a "Drama X Dance" with the company's artistic director Stella Ho. However, it is not necessarily a dance theatre work.
By the end of 2022, the creative team had entered the creation process. The two main creators decided to "switch roles". Hui Koc Kun, inspired by the idea that "there are many things in life that are better left unsaid", collaborated with three dancers to choreograph the dance work Let’s talk next time. Stella Ho, on the other hand, collaborated with two theatre actors to direct renowned playwright Ma Sen's In the belly of a boa constrictor. The two works became a double-bill performance, jointly titled Let’s talk next time … I am now in the belly of a boa constrictor.
